Weesperplein

Weesperplein is around the corner from my house. It’s where I go to catch a bus, tram or metro.

The metro station is located under the square visible in the drawing. A strange fact is that below the metro station there is a second metrostation. It was meant to be used for another metro line that was planned but in the end was cancelled. The second metro station was then converted into an atomic fallout shelter. It was 1975, during the cold war. Today it’s unused as far as I know. I’ve never seen it.

Another strange fact is that in 2014 an exact replica of the Weesperplein metro station was built in the south of the Netherlands as a location for police, firefighters and military personnel to train for emergency situations. I’ve never seen that either.

Our wooden frames are crafted from durable pine wood. The premium frames are made from responsibly sourced oak or ash that feature unique wood grains for added character.

• Frame Measurements: 20-25mm (0.79″-0.98″) thick, 10-14mm (0.4″-0.6″) wide.

Premium wooden frames:

• Frame Material: Responsibly sourced oak and ash wood.
• Frame Measurements: 20mm (0.79″) thick and wide, wider than the classic 14mm (0.55″) frame.

Premium Matte Paper Poster

Our premium matte paper is heavier-weight, white, and features a smooth, uncoated finish that feels luxuriously soft to the touch:

• Paper Finishing: Matte, smooth, non-reflective surface.
• Paper Weight: 200 gsm (80 lb), thickness: 0.26 mm (10.3 mils).
